Here’s the real story
The friendly staff and well-maintained pools made our family stay enjoyable. We experienced some issues with our room, including WiFi and hot water, but the management promptly offered a solution. Dining options were diverse, and the gardens created a peaceful atmosphere. Just be prepared for a bit of a hassle with the reception staff.

Beautifully maintained gardens enhance relaxation.
The room cleanliness was disappointing and not up to standard. I found the bathroom facilities outdated and uncared for. Additionally, the food hygiene was alarming, with flies often spotted around open dishes.

We loved the variety of activities at the resort, especially the fishing trip and arts and crafts sessions for the kids. The beach was gorgeous, and the staff were genuinely friendly, making our family time enjoyable.
In my kids’ opinion, it would be great to have more entertainment options during the day. The lack of activities for them was disappointing.

Oh, the grilled dishes at the Tangezi restaurant were out of this world—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! The staff, especially Eliud and Lawrence at the bar, made sure we were never thirsty, and the water activities were a blast! The spa was a cherry on top, incredibly relaxing!
However, the check-in was a nightmare, took ages and we ended up in the wrong room type. Plus, the smoking policy was a bummer with folks puffing away everywhere—definitely not cool, especially when trying to enjoy a family game night at Tapa Tapa.

Amazing beach vibes!
Had a wonderful stay! The beach access was incredible, and I loved chilling by the pool. Staff were super friendly, especially Willick, who really made me feel welcome at check-in. The Kenyan dishes at the restaurant were delicious! Just wish there were more shaded spots near the pool.

Baobab Beach Resort & Spa impressed me with its stunning architecture right on Diani Beach. The staff proved exceptionally friendly, always making sure I felt welcome. Meals featured delicious traditional Kenyan dishes with plenty of variety. The lush gardens and pool areas were beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. However, the check-in process took ages, and I ended up in the wrong room type, which was frustrating. Outside the resort, beach boys aggressively tried to sell me things, making walks on the beach less enjoyable. Additionally, the lack of shaded seating options by the pools made it tough to find a comfortable spot. Despite these inconveniences, the beautiful beachfront location and fantastic dining made for an enjoyable stay.
